CURE TREATMENT PREVENTION GENERAL

People with HIV live as long as people without HIV

Getting together

Events for and about people living with HIV

Every year, different types of events are held for the wider HIV community. There, you’ll meet other people living with HIV – to talk and to share stories. Coming together as a community allows you to learn from each other’s experiences. And that can be supportive and comforting.

During these meetups, much of the focus is on fresh HIV insights and the search for an HIV cure. You’ll hear more about new treatments, research findings and promising ideas from experts in the Netherlands and other countries.

National STI*HIV*Sex Conference

The National STI*HIV*Sex Conference gives healthcare professionals, policymakers and people living with HIV the opportunity to discuss fresh insights and developments in the field of sexual health.

Share the Power

The Share the Power community day is for people with HIV, and medical updates are often presented. Although Share the Power is aimed at the people living with HIV, others who are close to them are also welcome. The event is held twice a year.

The Amsterdam Dinner

The Amsterdam Dinner is a fundraising event that was held for the first time in 1992. The gala evening combines three aspects of the HIV response: fundraising, awareness and connection.
